Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Their original response was fine with me. Short extension on condition of passing the deal. Did we even ask for the additional options, or have they just taken matters into their own hands there?

It's pretty sinister. The EU are technically trying to engineer regime change. Depose a PM and bring in one more sympathetic to them. It's pretty much like US's foreign policy.

But you said there would be no civil unrest.
Will you vote in Brexit II?

I said I'd engage in civil disobedience - so more Ghandi than Che Guevara.

But there's already that yellow jacket plan to block all the roundabouts on 29 March and things like.

I would boycott another EU referendum if it is held before 2056 (the 'for a generation' that was promised). There's no point if the losers are too autocratic to turnover power

Tusk: 'Anything could be possible'

Speaking at a press conference on the second day of the EU summit, European Council president Donald Tusk says the Brexit delay plan announced by the EU last night means that until 12 April "anything could be possible: a deal, a long extension if the UK decides to rethink its strategy or decides to revoke Article 50".

"The fate of Brexit is in the hand of our British friends," he says.

"At the EU we prepare for the worst, but hope for the best."

Mr Tusk continues: "We will be also really determined to achieve the best possible deal.

"But almost everything is now in the hands of British Parliament and Theresa May’s government."

So it's possible that the "overseas" signatures actually come from Britain too yeah?

Yes. When you go to a proxy server list, you just pick the country you want it to look as if you are located in

People use it for getting round copyright or censorship restrictions. Kids use it when their schools block facebook

I know that petition is pretty pointless in the grand scheme of things but I wonder what it would take in the future to ever beat this record? Would have to be something big, like banning porn, or takeaways.

A state funeral for Nigel the Gardeners' World dog

AKA negotiated in a negotiation and presented solutions and options?

Nah, can't be, the EU are intransigent.

Were options requested? We had to request the extension and did so quite specifically as far as I'm aware. It seems to me that, rather than provide a direct response to the request that was made, they have introduced a variety of other options that potentially suit their agenda instead.
