Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

On mainstream issues, I notice that the assisted dying bill has been resubmitted and is being voted on in parliament today.

I hope they don’t fudge it as I am well aware it could be as cruel as it is intended to be kind.

I have spoken to my MP with my views and experiences but she had strong feelings the other way- which is fair enough!
And the vote goes against the bill.
I really think they ought to have had this debate and vote on a proper parliament day, rather than a Friday when half the MPs have constituency obligations.

His mum has had some random death threats online from a twitter account which has since close, its abhorrent and beyond horrible. But the reality is, no one really cares about her, the biggest part is she has been approached by the press, but thats on him and he also listed her address on companies house.

I don't know his circumstances but surely he takes his mum in for the time being till this dies down and moves her back.

I don't think going into London with balaclava'd up men and making threats is the way to calm this stuff down.

Bloke was a drug dealer who was banged up for kidnapping someone who was not the correct person, based on the person they wanted owing him drug money.

Lovely bloke
I agree his mother should never have been subject to a death threat - or any to any threat. Nor should those brave volunteers with the RNLI who have had their names and addresses published (thereby impacting their families) but I haven't see him calling for his supporters to stop that.

At my mother’s request, she will only use what she needs to safely relocate herself and start again. Once her full relocation has been completed, any remaining funds will be used to instruct a top legal team to deal with what has happened and take the appropriate legal action against the

Just how much money is he expecting to raise??

It's so unbelievably cruel. Just means ferrying very sick people to Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, or other civilised parts of the world, now

He’ll raise a lot, there will be people out there who will fall over themselves to give him whatever they have left after paying for Tommys most recent trip to Spain. When it comes to the RNLI volunteers who save lives though they will stay quiet.

Starts of as a bit of fun but the Ryan Grim goes on to explain how a lot of these over the top socialist ideas like “anti fatness is anti blackness” and “glp1’s are creating a fat genocide” that get discussed on podcasts and at conferences are being propped up by non profits to undermine the socialist movement and keep the working class divided. Pretty interesting.
