Well as Glasgow spur said its a whole mix of things and at the heart of it, there are too many people getting paid healthy amounts in our public services that basically cant be bothered and there is very little consequence management in our public sector compared to private sector. Public sector staff move up the pay ladder every year until they hit the top of their band regardless of performance.

For sure.

But we need to be clear. No police force has ever claimed they shyed away due to worries about racism. It's unnamed social workers who said their managers told them not to focus on ethnicity.

This has been peddled endlessly by the far right and I've been asking for ecidence of it for years and not seen it.

Remember this issue impacts me and my family. The hatred of Pakistani men is being emboldened.

Hence why I push people to back up claims.

But thats what im trying to say, these faceless wastes of space saying "we didn't do our jobs properly because we were scared of being racist" is creating racism because if all of these guys got locked up years ago like they should have been there wouldn't have been an issue and nobody would have talked about it.
