PDC Darts Competitions 2024

It's like Owen at France 98 or Becker winning Wimbledon at 17....they're so young they don't even know what pressure and nerves are. (Not in an adult sense) These fearless moments are magical.

Now #31 in the PDC Live Order of Merit, which for him is massive to be in tthe Top 32. Think it means he doesnt have to qualify for some tournaments
Win the whole thing and he goes to #9 and will probably be in the Premier league for next season

I would love to see her get back to something like the form she showed at the US Open. Think she needs to stop changing her coach (is it 5 in 2 years) and get some consistency in her life
Hopefully for her she has now sorted out her injuries, that's the first step she needs

Humphries has started well in this other semi.

Littler has 3 of the Top 4 averages in the tournament so far, and so it sounds daft, but he may have to find a little bit more to beat him tomorrow night

I know its probably based on the amount of bets placed, but there was no way Littler was favourite in my eyes before we started tonight, a 16 -year old up against a former champ, while in the other semi a guy who has won 17 on the spin including the last 2 comps.

Surely Humphries is the favourite (but after that demoltion of Cross by Littler, only just)

Humpries is just relentless. Littler has sets where he drops off, and Humpries will mop up all of those.

Indeed. Gilding let him off missing doubles as did Campbell. I honestly didnt think Barney, Dolan or Cross would miss as many chances to break as they did.
Credit to the lad he is doing what he needs to do and pulling out big finishes at the right time, but Humphries has been the best player on the planet over the last few weeks and is different gravy from every opponent Littler has faced, this is a different ball game.

Not saying Humphries is unbeatable, he got out of jail in an earlier round, and I get the impression he does not like it when the crowd are not with him, and believe me tonight I would say 90% of the crowd will be with Littler

Could be a classic final to rival Taylor v Van Barneveld

How is that kid that fat at 16, this country us fcuked. I hate fatties.
Asked about his preparation for Wednesday's final, Littler added: "I'll be doing what I've been doing. In the morning I'll go for my ham and cheese omelette and then come here, have a pizza and then prep on the board. That is what I've done every day."

The lad should be enjoyed this year, been a real bonus, but the idea he dominates is fanciful.

Too many good players, too many players on the floor off camera winning the PDC weeks with averages of 110+, he will be up there but its another player to share the spoils, we won't see another Taylor

As a Warringtonian through and through, I really really want Luke Littler to bring it home tonight, but I think this match is just a step too far..this year.

No matter what happens tonight, he has done himself proud. I wish him good luck, but Humphries, certainly based on last nights showing, looks to just have the edge
