When did 3g go full Goldbloom.
I think he has lost the plot and his sense of humour to boot, turned into an attention seeker ... since its the school holidays.
When did 3g go full Goldbloom.
Bit tinkled about this if true and can understand if that's what's irked Poch. We should be ahead of United for these sorts of players. Now they've signed Wan Bissaka and this fella.
Well, we also have to pay the money to get this fella. Given that we're refusing to pay a much smaller fee for Lo Celso, it stretches credibility that we would be open to showing on-pitch ambition on this scale.
We are ahead of United in terms of immediate attractiveness, in a sporting sense - not in a historical sense, of course. But that will only come into play if the money is equivalent - and we aren't looking like matching the spending of United, or even Arsenal, this season.
People laugh at ITKs and the idiots that believe it but then hang on the words of journos writing clickbait transfer gossip as if it's any more credible...
there's nothing to suggest we were even in for him/he was a genuine target.
What have Arsenal spent? We've broken our transfer record...
And then moan at the end of the window because us not signing him becomes evidence of Levy not backing Poch.
Well, to give you the reverse, last summer the cry from a lot of folks was 'Poch had money to spend, he just didn't want to sign anyone available on the market/no one available who would improve us'.
The man himself said this last week -
""Last year, in the same situation as today, they say we have money but Pochettino does not want to sign. It’s not like this. We wanted to sign the right players."
People believe flimflam ITK/rumors as easily when it supports their own views. People wanted to believe that Poch had money to spend - truth is, he got a big fat zero to spend last year, and thus we spent a big fat zero last year. Nothing to do with choosiness. So it works both ways, imo.
They should announce Pepe for 72m today, smashing our transfer record and pushing their spending past 120m - mostly net spending too, I think, although possible that will be recouped by sales once the signings are all in.
Either way, not bad for a skint Europa League dump of a club, I'm sure you'll agree.
Alternatively, they are strengthening their squad with some long term, young players without spending a fortune and bringing in one player for a single season that they hope can be the difference between top 4 and 5th/6th?But their actual spend will be £5m for Caballos, £20m on Pepe and £10m down on the kid form France
That’s their money committed now and next season too
All on the never never and if they don’t get CL this season that’s next years money gone again
It’s a strange move

Most transfers are done this way, we have no way of knowing of its future budget. But their actual spend will be £5m for Caballos, £20m on Pepe and £10m down on the kid form France

Yes but with that project with the Sheikh they actually won stuff. That isnt going to happen at United. Apparently Dybala and Pogba are best mates so that can help. Wouldnt want to work under Solskjaer though, would you?I honestly cannot see how that seems like a good deal to Juve.
Dybala is probably going for the "project" just like all those players who went to City at the start of the sheikh's reign.
