Pape Matar Sarr

He’s a player that I think a fair few of us Spurs fans don’t consider quite as much with him having been around longer than Archie and Lucas. Yet he’s still of an age where there’s likely more to come - both in quality and consistency.
Not a player likely to get mentioned by many outside the club but, yes, a real hope for a season to startle a number of people
I think he has fantastic potential. He can literally do everything, it's just about giving him the environment whereby he can grow into that player.

He is finally showing the ability he has in a game, only 22 but if he continues his improvment we will have a hell of a player in the future.

Feels a bit dirty saying this. But he reminds me of Viera when he first came to the league.

His energy is infectious and having those long legs he just seems to get his legs round his opponent to toe poke the ball away.

Agreed. He has that telescopic stride. There have been a couple of Everton and Villa players with the same African gait where they just eat up the distance like a Kenyan 5,000m runner.
Capoue threatened to do that for us for about 2 minutes, but wasn't the man.

I love players like Sarr, plenty good enough on the ball too.

It’s fine
I said that 2 years ago ish
It’s his height and his running
And that’s a player anyone would love to be compared with

Like he has evolved to play football.

He is like the "Duracell bunny" where does he get that stamina? I have hoped he could develop into a Viera type player for us. This season he seems to have grown in confidence and benefited from playing in a more structured team play.
