Congrats to the kid, even if he didn't hei on the pitch mutch he did play a little bit and it must be a great experience winning this at such a young age.

Winning mentality he can bring here?

You can never get enough of that in a team, lets hope so.

Is he in Tottenham now? The season didnt go well.. is he going to be with the team or loaned out again? Cant see I have heard anything positive about him after we signed him..

The last few weeks of the season he allegedly played very well for metz. Obviously a difficult season for them.

He's a spurs player now. Up to conte if he thinks he needs a loan or not. Might have preseason with us to show what he's got.

He's been given a squad number (29) so there's a fair chance that he'll be staying around this season rather than being loaned out.
Unless it's just an automatic and compulsory process?

Makes sense to keep one of him or Harvey White as a 5th choice CM option. Maybe also timely for him to have year acclimatising to the UK and benefitting from Conte's training.

Still a while to go before we have to register players for any competitions. Guessing just for the friendlies needs a number.

Allegedly devine is being kept to make him club trained.
I didn't realise that he only came to Spurs (from Wigan) in 2020, aged 16. Makes a lot of sense to keep him around for a season, even though he would benefit more from a lower league loan.

The rule is as follows:
"A club-trained player is defined as a player who regardless of his place of birth has been registered between the ages of 15 and 21 with his current club for a period of three entire seasons or 36 months."

That takes us to either the end of this season or July, depending on how it's counted.

Hopefully the lad's sensible enough to look at his long term future with Spurs, and our hierarchy are able to give him some match time in early cup rounds.

Hypothetically we could loan him. Then have him at the club for a season before he's 21. He'll then be club trained. Up to the club.

Good point. It's a dangerous game though. If he does well on loan, but not quite well enough to cement a place in our first team squad the following season (and let's face it, our squad is looking as strong as it has been in years), he may well get itchy feet. Understandably.

Whereas he'd probably still benefit from some of our U23 matches this season. Guess it depends where he sees his future, and of course what advice he's being given.
