I remember when he was a regular match co-comm on Radio 5.
At the start of a game, when he first got to speak, he'd always begin by saying 'Good evening everybody' which just seemed so nice and charming. He'd often proceed to speak with a fair bit of knowledge and perspective about tactics and certain players.
