I agree. And the two players who could play there (Bentley & Pienaar) aren't available to us. Very strange.
Well DB was apparently registered in January?

Kyle Walker just tried booting the ball at Barnes lol.
Hmm were slowly turning in to old boys fc. Nelsen and Gallas at the back? Parker and Friedel? Reasonably short term stuff that. I know it's not all about tomorrow and you have to compete today, but jesus. With King like he is as well, Adebayor on loan etc.
Get the manager next year or miss out on Champs League and Bale or Modric start making noises..... got a bit of a house of cards feel about it.
I'd have definitely played Livermore or Sandro instead of Parker. His limited passing is starting to do my head in.
And is a big factor as to why we've done so well this season. Focus not on his passing but his MOVEMENT and also the speed of passing.
just cut away though!
I see what your saying and his qualities (of which there are loads), but at the moment i'd just like to try and get some fluidity into the team and more momentum and structure moving forwards. I find his movement a bit brick actually (not in a defensive sense of course), and the constant one twos in the direction he's facing, putting the reciepient under pressure is driving me mad.
1) Do you know he is definitely fully fit for today?
2) How do you know he won't play against Chelsea AND Stoke?
3) With King's injury record, Kaboul's brickness surely it makes sense to start giving Gallas games?
His movement is fantastic. He holds position better, allowing Modric to roam, but is ALWAYS available as the get out pass. If we have the ball in midfield he is usually the closest player to receive the ball. That's invaluable. Livermore is just plain out of his depth. Sandro isn't a good a footballer as Parker.
Well that's just fudging stupid. So instead of King playing two games(Bolton and Chelsea) he'll play just the one against Stoke, alongside two other centre backs when we're short in that position already. Gallas just returning from a long injury to play all three games, makes sense.
