Problem is, in his system (statistically)

- Son has created the most big chances
- Johnson has scored the most goals

So you can add in more "involved" players at the cost of chances and goals.

This is why, I keep going back to, this isn't a player problem, it's a tactics issue.

I sadly don't think we have the stones as a club to fight to win this trophy. We might get through here but I just cannot see how we find the fortitude. Never have I wanted to be proven wrong so much by Spurs.
 
I feel a massive disconnect with Spurs at the moment but as usual hope, despite everything, that we win.

I find your opening comment strange, we all have mixed feeling about the club but if we disconnected from it why would we be posting on here? I've always hoped for the best no matter what. Going to be a tough watch on Thursday and I'm sure the travelling fans will be urging us on.

Because I’m still Spurs. Because watching us is a habit . Because I desperately hope to see some change.

I certainly watch the team expecting to lose, and having become so accustomed to losing that it no longer prompts me to feel much more than weary acceptance, mild annoyance, and - yes - pretty disconnected.

As you say yourself, we’re a tough watch, and have been for over a year. This manager, and the continuing poor stewardship of the football side, have sucked a lot of joy out of following the club of late.

I get really bored watching our games. I can't even remember the last one I finished, which I've never had before, even under Graham. The football is so dire to watch.

Until Ange I rarely posted/followed on here during games as I left my phone in another room. Now the gallows humour on here is about the only entertainment I get during the 90 minutes.

We're an overly attacking team so those numbers mean FA. Concentrate on the amount of times possession is conceded by those two. This isnt a dig at those players, they dont suit the system. The system isn't going to change while Ange is here, they need to be dropped.
