Ah hear, would you stop.

We needed 3 points from the last 12 to finish ahead of our local rivals who we haven't finished ahead of in 20 years. That's an Arsenal side having their worst season in a long time and where the fans want their manager sacked. We've been talking for months about our great season and a power shift. And we bottle it. Again. Except this time we don't just bottle it. We do it in unprecendented fashion. We lose 5-1 to a team already relegated side who were down to 10 men at 2-1. That allows a poor Arsenal side to finish ahead of us.

If you can't see why people are annoyed, you have no business on a football message board.
 
That was such a disappointing end to a great season. We should've sealed it last week though. Only ourselves to blame.

Oh well - third place, lets try to focus on that. We didn't expect that before the start of the season.

Onwards and upwards next season. At least the only team to do the double over us won't be there to do it then.

Sigh. I don't even think AVB is better than Poch. But f*ck me if people don't really, really underestimate AVB and rush to praise Poch when, as we have seen, he hasn't removed S.P.U.R.S.Y any more than any of our other managers have, and he hasn't removed the same damn vulnerabilities we've had throughout the PL era: soft at the back, mentally fragile, bottlers, useless.
 
Unless Walker was injured ..... no speed from our guys going so far up the pitch. You either think fast and/or act fast, or you don't go so far forward. Again. And Again and again.

He is right. We finished 3rd, with a young side. Their wages are probably half that of the arse. The feeling of injustice is real. We deserved more. Mistakes were made. Amazing advances were also made this season. But the team and Poch have to learn and develop. And we - fans - need to grow a pair. Most predicted lower finsihes. Man up

In all honesty, losing 5-1 to a 10-men relegated side in a game which could make sure you finish above your hated arch rivals for the first time in 20 years (with only a point!) - of course peple are going to be tinkled off. Real Madrid fans? Get fudging real. No one's talked about sacking Poch, but of course people are disappointed by the display today. Absolute dog brick.

Only we could do this, feels even worse than the City 3-4 match or the Utd 3-5 one, or etc, etc ..., fudge it all!
 
When will u all realise that whatever players, manager etc are at the club. Nothing will ever change!

Losers is part and parcel of this embarrassing football club. It's in our DNA.
 
It is hard to believe that we can finish 3rd, qualify for the CL, and yet still be left with a bitter taste of disappointment, and have the tinkle taken out of us all summer.
 
I was about to write last week that we were about to have our first season in a very long time in which we wouldn't have been on the receiving end of a hammering - but then of course we have to go and get one on the last fudging day.
