not really. When the ball was finally played to him he had two defenders standing about 2 or 3 yards - it was always likely to hit one of them
 
That needed an earlier ball from Defoe, and then a bit of composure from Gylfi, instead of lumping it at the players in front of him.
 
the big difference between this game and the earlier ones is that we're setting it at a pace that seems more comfortable. we're not actually struggling.
 
Naughton needs to find his feet, first game of the season and not in his natural position.
Don't be too hard on him.

I think the pull back was fine. I dont think it was possible to get it in earlier as I think one of the reading players would have cut it out

Anyways its done
 
Jeez Reading look brick. If we dont win this the players and management should be lined up and shot
