OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

Funny that, Bissouma was another one that Ange was apparently holding back and was going to be really good once he left. Can't possibly be anything to do with the players....

So, are we going to get the Captain for the season announced tomorrow, and the leaders team by the end of the month?

The way he spoke about Romero, it does seem like it will be him

Everytime something happens, are you gonna frame it with Ange being referenced?

I asked you before, what responses are you expecting apart from someone biting and another thread becoming an Ange should he have been sacked or not merry go round.

I don't want to put words in Harr1984 posts I think he's just making the point that no all that went wrong last season was down to one man. I along with many others are hoping for improvement and expect the players to buy into that, I thought some players were content to sit back and let Postercoglu and his tactics take the flack for their errors or poor performance.

It happened under Ange , can't find the story but when Ange first arrived at Spurs he told Biss he could be the leader of the team, following day he came in late for training. :)

The only person who bites seems to be you ;)

It's not about whether Ange should have been sacked, people acknowledged Anges misgivings. It was the argument that our squad was really good, just needed Ange gone and the players would look great. Specifically Son, who lo and behold we were happy to sell and looking to invest heavily in wingers because guess what? Our forwards aren't good enough.

Bissouma was another one some were insistent on would be much better once we had a new manager when the evidence was staring people right in face that he was unreliable with his inconsistency off the pitch and on it. New manager and the same old tricks.

There was this idea that our squad is really good, just a couple of little tweaks needed and watch us go. It still needs plenty of work. So apologies for the mention of Ange being triggering, it is not just about him....

More on Bissouma
He's been late several times and now this time the latest time was one too many. With everything you need to give your players a lot of love. There need to be demands and consequences and this time there was a consequence.

Should have got rid at least a year ago.

He’s been late before under Ange and there was all the nonsense with the laughing gas. There’s an argument that perhaps another manager would have moved him on long ago.

I’m not sure most people were saying the squad was “really good,” more that there was zero excuse for finishing 17th, for us looking like we didn’t know what we were supposed to be doing in most games, with almost every metric showing negative movement, and with us being bloody awful to watch.

Sorry to retrace steps which have been covered umpteen times before, but I’ll keep doing it any time excuses are even nearly made for our last PL season. It was completely f ucking dreadful.

All I ever saw and said myself was that we shouldn't be 17th, in any season, under any circumstances.

Agree regarding Bissouma, the warning signs have been there for a while.

There are people saying the squad is really good, there are people that have had debates with those who have said it :D Can even find very recently discussions about how we just need a couple of minor tweaks, we need more than that. But if we are genuinely in for Eze and Savinho then that's a really positive step....
