Or is it as I said above because UTD in many ways play to our strengths i.e. do not pack 10 men behind the ball but come at us leaving space behind. Unlike the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game we have been in front both times today so they have had to keep coming at us. I don't think Utd are a great attacking side and AVB imo made yet another mistake witht he Lennon sub. Don't think you can read too much into 1 game tbh have to look over the 6 games.

I think we've played with a good intensity, but we've lacked quality in our passing this half. Good effort fomr the players, but very scrappy. Sandro's great hit aside, I can't thinik of De Gea having to save all that much. We have been better than Utd though.
 
Would have happily taken a point before the game, so can't really complain. But there were 3 points to be had today, Man U didn't play well.
 
Overall its been much much better but still a bit meh... our goals really came from two 25 yrd strikes - still not sorting our in the 18 yrd box play (although has been a bit better today and had soldado and lennon chances)

Anyways, one bad game doesnt make everything **** and one good game doesnt mask what we have experienced - the proof is in the pudding going forward
 
Decent response after last week. Soooo frustrating that their two goals essentially derive from mistakes. I can't remember Lloris having a shot to save.
 
We deserved the win. Very unlucky with conceded goals. Well done AVB & the lads. I don't think he's lost the dressing room at all. The team looks united.

Today looked like the City game might really have woken them up. A different level of intensity today. Gutted we didn't win though.
 
Plus side. Better moving forward. Paulinho looked good in #10.

Minus side. Man U opened the game up and let us/forced us to be a bit more direct. Be interesting to see how we do in our next two league games, against teams who won't play that way. Still not sure we have the creativity in a tighter game to make and convert chances in open play.

Where does that leave Lamela? (if he is not injured)

Good game, I can't single out a bad individual performance tbh. Jan could have done better, but all in all, a good performance. Still waiting for Armchair to completely trash our performance.
