I don't believe it either - i think what he means is we aren't playing that way as well as he wants us to. I remember Jose saying something similar about sitting off when we had the lead, which again was clear for all to see was under instruction.
That context is only important for the red card, nobody is claiming it is one. It's a foul so a pen.

Conte started the game to fearful. He has done this before with Chelsea a number of times. Simply by not using the most offensive WBs we have, but the most defensive în an at home match, shows his lack of confidence în our team. This is the only thing I can see wrong with Antonio. Elsewhere, I think he has given us so much and improved us. Just needs to shake this small team theory he has.

You’re right but his decision making is awful and Doherty is so much better going forward. Thought the crowd reaction to one of his fudge ups was pretty awful to be honest. The roof nearly came off the place in frustration.

Issue is it seems to rely on us not making mistakes, but we're Tottenham. There has to be a balance to be found. Maybe having Kulu etc back means we needs to commit less as we'll have players who can create better.
Also gonna need better wing backs, Sess is being outshone by someone 50 years older than him and Doherty done more than Royal in the 20 mins he was on.

One thing I’ll say about sess again is look at how many balls get played to him I’ve royal
It was clear to see the CBS look right, thing nah it’s coming straight back and they pinged some decent balls to sess
