So I absolutely love Conte's ambition to show that we only can play for 45mins whilst the opposition get the full 90. It's kinda fun.
But I'm starting to think..... maybe should pick the team to win the game from the start?
And maybe we should play for the full 90mins too?

We were brilliant. No idea how we lost that game. Kulu outstanding when he came on. Bentancur magnificent again. Lenglet I thought was very good. We deserved a lot more. That wasn’t like the other games we lost this season.
Liverpool didn't even play well, no different in the 2nd half from them than the first we just decided to play - worst team we have dropped points to all season.
Didn't work for Jose when protecting a lead and isn't working for Conte the other way round - we must expell more energy chasing a game so I'm not seeing any benefit to our approach right now

That may be so, but we keep losing big games, Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool and Saudi Sportswashing Machine and we were lucky not to lose to Chelsea. We are not going to get a top 4 place at this rate.

Yep and it's been highlighted all season how rare it is for a top 6 season to go away to another top 6 team and win and we've lost two in a row. . 10 wins in a row at home and then 2 defeats in a row against direct rivals and both games we have made catastrophic errors and gifted the opposition the victory.
Saudi Sportswashing Machine look a lot better than Liverpool to me.

The reason we leaked goals was because we were being more adventurous. Pushing up higher, leaving the back 3 more exposed. We weren't sitting back protecting today.

Manager needs to quickly realise that we’re a FAR better team playing on the front foot. We don’t have good enough centre backs to play back foot football. Was so evident today in that first half looking at team shape…. Liverpool have 2 centre backs split with full backs high up the pitch when on the ball. We have 3 centre backs all deep with wing backs far deeper than Liverpool’s full backs. We have the players for high energy, front foot football but don’t play it until we’re chasing the game.

Really good performance today, we weren’t even that bad in the first half. If Dier doesn’t make that fudge up then going in 1 down would be fair enough on the balance of play.
