***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Everton***

With the absence of Solanke, I think has now become a 'must not lose game' as opposed to our normal style and that will still keep 7 points between us and Everton...

With too many underperforming and knackered players I would play Everton at their own game and not allow them to get us on the break as Moyes will certainly set them up to do...

I would go with this team to start.....

Kinky

Spence Dragusin Davies Reguilon

Bissouma Bergvall Sarr

Kulu ( if he's got any energy left) Maddison

Lankahear

I don't want to see the full backs bombing forward but I want to see the midfield control the ball and move up the pitch as on organised team and not like a bunch of 7 year old.

I would tell Lankshear to run himself into the ground for 60 minutes and work the defenders...

Deoending on the state of the game after an hour that would then allow us to bring Porro, Son, Grey (who all need a rest) Richie, Moore or Johnson on to really get at them....

Something needs to change in the way we approach games and the above suggestion may not be fully supported but as o have said before I am older than Ange and it is about time he started listening to me.....

Give yourself a break. We only need your support when we're winning.
Yep I've thoroughly enjoyed our 10 game unbeaten run.
That was in response to finding out Dom is out.

The tide will change, and when we win today. You can thank me.......😁.

Richy will win us this, smack in a couple of good ones. I think we'll bounce back today, hope the guys will be up for it. We need some battling spirit now, no more faffing about. Come on Spurs!

Bit early for drinking? ;)

I hope you are right though, he has form away at Everton, so maybe today he does click back into gear

Haha, I wish I was! I think he looked eager and up for it against scum. He has a point to prove and whenever you see him on the bench he's our most enthusiastic - I think he will be well up for it! I actually quite like Richy as a striker, it's just a shame that he's always injured.

FA Cup draw prevailing, this could be our last visit to Goodison Park.

For the guys and gals that have been there, will you miss it?

The ducking down in the Lower Bullens due to the low roof, the stanctions blocking certain views and the wooden benches.

Before we dropped down the pecking order for away tickets this was a regular away day for myself and Mrs PW. I think I will miss the old place

I’m not in a good place with Spurs right now so I’m not confident. Think we’ll be overpowered by them and lose by a goal or two.

It’s a good test for the team and Ange. It’ll be a tough battle against a team with a bit of renewed hope with the appointment of Moyes (their midweek loss notwithstanding). Get a result and it’ll go a long way to convincing me we won’t be in a real scrap for survival.

COYS - prove me wrong.

Richy is rusty. He'll frustrate everyone and be subbed before 60 mins.
He came în very well against Arsenal. Our players look jaded and scared to try risky passes, no confidence because of all these results and shaky play. He didnt play so doesnt have this colective fear to try different things. He is determined and he always gives 110%.

Only been to Goodison once, the Hugo head injury game. Match was a 0-0 bore, but the atmosphere was great. Even had a few pints in a pub facing Stanley Park after the game. The Everton fans knew we were Spurs, but didn't get any hassle, quite the opposite in fact. Can't say that I'll miss it as I'll never have enough loyalty points to go again. To think we were able to get tickets as Bronze Members! Those days are long gone.
I've posted these pics before, but here they are again for old times sake:
