***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Everton***

Must not lose, otherwise Levys asking for a list of options. Hopefully we can win. We certainly should. The issue is our fit senior players are shagged or carrying knocks, and we have a bunch of youth players across our back line - who with more and more games and looking better and better. But they aren't svelte players yet, or even fully grown men.

I would assume that all our boys got home at a reasonable hour after the last away game

They now get the extra days rest and then they get another 4 days rest before the EL game.

Here's hoping we see some freshness, especially as the squad gets bigger with Bentancur's return. Perhaps Davies as well. Richi fired up against his old club.

2 wins and we'll all be a little more cheery.

to be fair under normal circumstances I would say manager bounce would be a concern - but they have so little creativity in their team that they struggle to make chances - we're more open than most teams so they will get some against us, but I do think its going to need more than 10 days for Moyes to get the team playing the way he wants.
You don’t need creativity to beat us, just switch the play and your player is likely to be through one on one, failing that just play an easy ball into the runner and he will beat our high line and get through on goal.

Performances haven't been that bad imo. We were second best in the NLD, but that's also away against a very good team and individual errors also ended up costing us. Good performance and a result against Liverpool.

Similar level of performance should be enough to get a result from this one. Big difference being that we face a very different challenge, most likely a mid or low block for significant portions of the game and we know we can struggle with those, as we did against Tamworth.

We need creativity and ball playing quality in midfield and the front line. Maddison, Kulusevski, Bergvall. For me only start one of Son and Johnson.

Think we need to rotate a bit. Not a ton of good options, but both for coming games and this one (ability to play with more energy, good players coming on with energy rather than slugging through a full game).

Really could do with an early goal.

On the bounce?? That's optimistic!! I'm so battered by this club, that I don't even see that as possibility.

And now I'm even thinking at best we may get one new face by end of Jan

Do NOT play Porro. He cannot defend. Regularly gets caught on the wrong side of goal by his man, constantly caught out of postion and is weak physically. It was embarrassing watching him diving around against Tamworth when he got out muscled on the ball.

I would encourage you to get used to only 2 signings per window. It's really where we need to be now. Quality over quantity.

Now we have this amazing foundation in place, we need to avoid any signing that doesn't add more gold dust to what we already have.

Two good signings in January, one of them being Kinsky, would be a pretty good January by most standards.

Full agreement on gold dust. That's what we need. Not quantity.

Play him RW, put a proper defender in behind him.
