oddly I can see why managers play him because of the energy he brings, but I think that says more about the quality of the squad In that position.

I don't disagree. He's limited at best, but as you say, he's got application and the odd showing of x-factor. Should've gone off instead of Bergwijn for me.
 
I'd say that it's not the balance that's the problem but the individuals?

Well its clear we often became too regressive, inviting teams onto us. So that was not balanced. We need to push up more, press more, and then play through midfield. We were just camped in with no out balls.

Today we went for it - great in the cup - but week in and out, we need to play as we have but with better defensive cover.

We are work in progress. Think we agree it is a breath of fresh air to see our players moving the ball better. Can Mourinho find a middle ground? Why not!?
