***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

we must nip that stupid lose of control in the bud - it was rank amateur

We're a young squad. They will have learned from it and tonight's game will unite the squad. None of them will leave and, assuming we add 2 or 3 decent players this summer, we'll challenge for the title again next year

Lost our temperament in the second half but in a way it's good to see - too many times we have seen us roll over without a whimper.

Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser

I'd normally agree, but we allied it with helplessness. It's no good snarling and fighting off the ball if you're muscled off it and easily overrun while it's in play.

And make no mistake, we were thoroughly outclassed in the second half. I hope they left it in and that their c*nts feel sore in the morning, but in the future, aggression needs to be allied with nous, with cold steel, with game management.

I've said it to @thfcsteff, and I'll say it again; the day we learn to be c*nts is the day we have the title sewn up, done and dusted. Game management, the dark arts, call it what you want, but until we learn to stop losing our heads and reacting the way we did to losing a goal and being wound up, we will always be the pretty losers.

The next time, if there were similar circumstances, I wouldn't be impressed by us flying in, snarling and biting and losing our heads. I *would* be impressed by meeting a sly kick at the ankles with an equally sly f*cking elbow in the face, *minus* the cartoonish obviousness with which we tried to do it today (i.e, not in the Alli/Dembele way, which leads to bans).

Teams need to fear us; if not because of our football, then because of the high probability of being mauled, wound up and put through the wringer if they try any funny business.

When we are under pressure we start to hoof it too much. We panic. Need experience in there

Just wanted to shut those clams up for once!

They were both seen by officials and actively not punished, so there can't be retrospective action

I think that the rule is that they cannot face retrospective action if they are included in the referee's match report. Whilst the cameras show the officials looking at the incidents, that does not meant that they saw them or that they will make the report.

Well done you Chelsea fans celebrating a draw, and applaud kicking the ball into the corner and not going for the win.

Now have a peek at the League table, because you just blew your last chance of playing in Europe next season. Celebrate that you fools

I disagree with this. I thought that we recovered well from their first goal and looked really good. The second goal though really knocked us off our stride and that is when we got straggly.

You don't see a pattern in second half performances against wba and tonight? I don't know if its not knowing whether to sit back - getting caught in two minds over defending the lead. Regardless I think we just needed to focus on our game not the occasion. Concentrate on finishing, tracking runners. Instead, what we normally do well, we didn't do. Chel$eas second goal, our defending was not as tight as usual. And generally we didn't impose our game second half.

When Chel$se are tiring at the end we're caught up in nonsense rather than playing, its a sign of inexperience. We didn't learn from 2nd half against wba. They should learn for next season. Massively impressed with Poch. Have complete faith in him getting this side of things sorted too. I think he's aware of it, even if he wasn't able to address it this season.

I know it's sh1t letting a lead slip to those qunts, but look how far we've come.

Chelsea are celebrating drawing against us on their home ground, so that another team beats us to a league title while they sit in 9th place, 22 points behind us. We used to be that sh1t, all we could celebrate was when rivals didn't win something. Now it's them.

at 2-2 with over 5 minutes left, Hazard had the ball at his feet, and headed for the corner flag

Chelsea fans now sounding all professional, talking about how losing the title tonight hurts and how it didn't matter that they were playing us. I'd almost believe it if it wasn't for the brick that Hazard and Fabregas were saying prior to the game, the way they definitely celebrated in front of our fans etc.

This. I find it hilarious that Chelsea are celebrating the way they are. A load of glory hunters who've gone back to where they belong - midtable obscurity.

And we managed to take the title down to the last few games of the season. Have no idea when the last time we did so was but it shows the progress that has been made.

Now to focus on wrapping up the runner up position that will see us go in as second seeds for the CL next season.
Leicester will be top seeds. The seeding for the other pots is decided by the clubs' UEFA coefficients not league position. We are most likely to be in Pot 3 but have a small chance of being in Pot 2.

thanks niegyman. i feel a bit better now. we just all have that filthy dark image lurking in the back of our minds where arsenal finish above us on the final day.

You know what finishing above them does not mean anything to me, its missing out on silverware that hurts, particularly when I consider us the best team in the league...but we have flaws we need to eradicate...we also need a little more quality and squad strength.

Even if we do finish behind them it does not matter, our mentality needs to change...the only time we should celebrate finishing above them is if it means lifting a trophy.

Congratulations to Leicester, they deserved it.

As for us pain should breed hunger!!! we need to evolve from this experience and we will!

Also, we need a leader and a set piece organizer. Really badly. Maybe not the leader, but the *set piece* organizer? Definitely.

We lost our heads tonight - we will win fudge all with idiots lose the plot like tonight, they are better than that

So Dembele and Lamela out for the season? I quite liked how we attacked them, to be honest, haven't seen a Spurs side with this much balls ever.

I'm too young to have witnessed the Double Winners play but looks like they had a bit of fight in them too...

Although mathematically possible, the title was gone before tonight. We have been brilliant this season, a team that has only been beaten four times can hardly be accused of failing on the big occasions. That is not to say that I am not disappointed.

had we held on tonight I'd have been amazed to see Leicester win in that environment

Rubbish. We've been great this season. Derbies are tough and this was always going to be a difficult game. How can anyone call this team wasters?
Three clubs..in London three cup finals..we have to play//

well that's tribalism for yah...LOL

a bit more depth in the squad..we could have been Champions.
missed opportunity in the winter window to strengthen!

and the way they turned in their one performance of the season
