Harsh on Townsend there, to not even be in the squad? But you have to drop someone I guess, for me he'd be on the bench ahead of Chadli for the moment.
 
has anything been said about Rose being back this weekend?? just that everyone seems to be including him in their line ups
 
I don't really agree with others that its a tough selection, except for the Dembele/Sandro call, which is so tight nobody could disagree with whichever one AVB goes with.

The other spots: Lamela's time has come. Start him. You can't drop Soldado after a non-scoring run of just 3 games for a match that suits his game. Wrong signal to that for me. Siggy's been playing on the left, Townsend hasn't, so stick with him. Lewis is damn unlucky, but Eriksen holds that shirt for now and hasn't done anything to be dropped. Which leaves this:

That would be my team as well. Got the feeling AVB may go with Dembele and Townsend, though. I reckon we can do them this time. 2-0 Spurs, Sigurðsson & Soldado.

Based on KD's team, just going to put Townsend in from the start. Think he could cause Cole some issues. Get Andros running at Terry.

I really want to play Lamela, but I think to bring on a player with his quality could swing it for us. It is bloody tough.
Holtby, Defoe, Townsend all dont deserve to be left out.

This is what I'd like to see even though it's probably not going to happen. I really think Townsend could do well playing down the left. I have a feeling that Soldado is going to have a big outting. He is due to score and he seems like a player built for big matches.
 
Just for his ability to keep possession well, I think Chadli on the left might be useful. Not sure how fit he is though mind you.
 
I wonder if we will see Willian on the pitch for this one. Unlikely I suppose, but I'm sure he'll get a warm reception if he does appear.
 
I really don't think AVB knows what his best starting XI is yet.

But then again, neither does Mourinho.
