OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea, WHL, Sat 28 Sept

A point would be disappointing. If we want to compete with these teams we need to be beating them at home.

not neccesarily.

didnt man utd win the league a few years back by just smashing all the teams lower in the league but picking up points (draws) against the teams around them? A point against Chelsea is a good result. and it puts us top anyway.

Not optimistic at all. They've clearly stuffed some cash in Dean's wallet. I can see us going down to 10 men and getting a dodgy penalty against us.

Oh definitely. The dodgy penalty is nailed on - should put money on it, really.

most definitely, and it'd feel a little gutting considering we've been the better team and gone 1-0 up.. but i wouldnt be disheartened by a 1-1 draw.

A great chance to get a points buffer though. If we win we can prob afford to **** up later down the line somewhere without falling behind our rivals.

A good test though, in the past we probably would draw or lose such a close game. IF we win that would be an amazing sign of our improvement.

COYS!!

Paulinho's flaggin a bit imo and Dembele and Sandro work just as well together.

Not saying that its the case but you comment looks like one whereby someone wants something to happen (eg Sandro and Dembele) playing together and therefore ignores the facts or makes things up - Paulinho hasn't looked like he flagging at all!

I would like to see Holtby on but I'm not sure where and for who. I think his energy could be important in not getting pushed back. Plus he can really pick a pass which might be important if we do come under the cosh as expected.

But did Man Utd see it as a good point at that time? they would have been disappointed not to win.
