Lamela is on a tight rope and Torreira will try to get him sent off. If Erik gets a second yellow, it'll be for a supposed late rap of the ankles on that guy.

Nothing to be done about that now, his work-rate across the middle is invaluable. If we're tied up at 2-2 going into the 65th minute, we can take him off for Alli or Lo Celso, but for now, he needs to stay tenacious and hope Atkinsin doesn't send him off.

I understand players playing out of position but there’s also common sense.

Davinson tried to dribble it out first and got dispossessed which started the pressure then got a 2nd chance to clear and kicked it straight to Guendouzi which they scored from.
47 mins. 2-0 up. Go deep, hit the corners.

I thought Rose reacted to the handball
Shouts and it put him off. If Aurier is fit enough for the bench he needs to come on at RB for Sanchez. Else Alli in CM and Sissoko for RB.
I would keep it as it is or maybe Aurier after 60 mins.
They will target the left flank, Sissoko backing up the left will be important rather than Sissoko 1 v 1.

Sanchez has been "ok". And many CBs have been made at RB.

It’s on the players now. They know if they throw this away it really has been self inflicted and totally needless. Beyond stupid and they will know that. Let’s hope they take it home.

That goal saved Danny Rose from being sent off right.
It would have been a penalty and yellow card on VAR right?

You know we won’t start clearing it properly, Poch won’t take either of the hot heads off. We just have to ride this out.

Cant see us holding on. 2-0 at HT I was confident of not losing at least.

But we have been 2-0 here before and lost (2 seasons running). 2-1 last season and lost, I am praying to GHod we have learned our lesson, but not holding out a great deal of hope right now

This 45 minutes will be very telling and show how much togetherness and fight there is in this group of players .

Can’t capitulate . Get Erik off walking Red Card that boy.

COYS!!

We don’t have the players of City or Liverpool to play out from the back, Verts is the only one who can. It’s ridiculous trying it, especially when two goals up and a minute until half time.

This. Sanchez and Rose are not good on the ball, and our deep midfielders (Sissoko and Winks) aren't anywhere near as dynamic as the midfield of those two. Makes for disaster.

Whenever we get the ball beyond their first press, they look vulnerable, and Eriksen and Son orchestrate things. But the supply line from deep is just awful, and I'd rather they hoof it than they to play out.

I’m not confident but I think we can score more goals too.

Rose delayed, expecting half time whistle I think. That set off a chain reaction.

That goal displays our current mentality I think - nervous rather than dominant and getting the job done.
But....it's better than the past few games.

They didnt say at the time and hasnt been touched since because they scored, but I have a sneaky feeling it was being reviewed as they scored
