OMT *** TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V WEST HAM *** Sat 19 Oct 2024 • 12:30PM Tottenham Hotspur Stadium •

surely west ham should face a heftier fine - their player started the whole thing and continued with two hits to the face
why shouldn't our players be allowed to defend ourselves

I hope he doesn't get a long ban, that won't benefit us, just other teams.
He's pretty much their best player so I want him playing against everyone else....their next 5 games include Man Utd, Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Woolwich.

Defend themselves? From what? The girls with the handbag slap? They should stay the fudge away. It's not like was a life or health threatening situation. No need for anyone else to get involved.

Got off lightly imo. The second offence if it was isolated, would have warranted 3 games in itself
agree. feels like a discount on the second one despite it being in quick succession.

remorse goes a long way:

The further punishment of an additional three-match ban was downgraded by the commission to two matches, after agreeing that Kudus' "acceptance of the charge and his apology, which it found to be sincere, coupled with his clean disciplinary record, were mitigating factors".

What was also revealed in the commission's report, was Kudus' take on the whole incident. The West Ham man explained the situation and why he felt it had happened.

The report read: "Mohammed Kudus began his letter by apologising, stating that he was deeply embarrassed by his behaviour in the 20 seconds following his foul on Micky van de Ven. He accepted that he had lost his cool and said that his behaviour was out of character.
