+++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

The FA have played no part in where we are.
According to my supah secrit sauces they have. Joke aside, the Premier League is a product. A product needs engagement and controversy to make it marketable. If Arsenal wins the league the same season Tottenham is relegated, that would the biggest coincidence in decades.

We have previously had refs we felt that, deservedly or not, had it in for us. Most of the time, fan bias and that's part of it all. But now it's beyond that, no matter what ref. It's too consistently inconsistent. I don't feel the same in our European matches. I'm not even saying it's particularly anti-Spurs, but the inconsistency favours some too much to be... inconsistent. I don't believe that the FA is directly involved or directly influences anything, or even that they're worse that other bodies governing over massive amounts of money and exposure, but you have guidelines for brands, and keep in mind: When the Raptors reached the NBA finals as the only Canadian team since whenever, the viewership dropped by 40%. Cost the NBA a pretty penny.

But my honest opinion is that our nice guy image, not kicking up a fuss no matter what, has more to do with it that anything else.

We have such a weird fanbase with this brick.

We ain't going down because of the FA, we are going down because the over priced players we have wanted are absolute dogmuck

Indeed. Why would those in charge of the PL want one of the biggest teams in their league dropping out of it? Maybe it’s City for the chop next year, Liverpool and United after that… 🤣

Sadly I actually thought we would get a result today, and we can blame poor reffing bad luck( a goal from a massive deflection) but the truth is our players are just not good enough. It shows how far the quality of our squad has fallen when people on here think bringing on the likes of Tel and Simons is going to change the course of the game. I actually think the team and substitue bench we had today would struggle in the Championship. Our only hope is that the teams just above us get worse results than us but the evidence from the last couple of rounds of games suggest otherwise

I rate and have defended Xavi all seaosn

But lets get it straight, RDZ is the third manager not to fancy him

So either we are all right that he is class OR he isn't showing enough in training. THe idea a manager who wants to keep a team up isn't picking his best player is nonsense, there must be more to it
It's slightly worrying though what RDZ thought he saw in training from Muani, that watching any video of his performances this season would have screamed "he is not a starter!" If it's just that RDZ wants to play 4231 and RKM is his main option on the right, that is even more worrying.

I agree but are we to believe that managers are self sabotaging....or there are some rank bad bodies here. I suspect its the later

Incredible that even after selling Johnson and knowing both Kudus plus Kulusevski would be out for at least a couple more months that Lange & Vinai decided our right flank wouldn't need bolstering despite having 3/4 of the January window to find someone.

Although I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised considering the transfer committee took 12 months before settling on Solanke as the man who could fill the £100m void left by the sale of Kane… and thought that Tel and Odobert were ready made replacements for Sonny… and we didn’t need another left footed FB to cover Udogie except for Davies…

I think it’s because it fits the system he wants to play
It can’t be because of his performances

There are huge issues
And it starts at the top
I’ve said that repeatedly
Decent football people would have out Frank out his misery much much earlier
The cowards we have in charge didn’t and that is a huge huge part of the issues now
They are utter tossers
Every time the camera goes Lange and Vinai in the stands I get far angrier than a man my age should, just complete clams!

Despite churning through 4 managers over the past 24 months we’ve averaged less than 1 point per game for 2 entire seasons worth of PL games, a tally which is worse than every other club in the top flight except Wolves… truly an omnishambles by the hierarchy and we seem destined to reap what they’ve sowed!

Since April 2024:

Played 76
Won 20 Drawn 14 Lost 42 For 113 Against 128 Diff -15 Points per Game 0.9
On that record alone we deserve to be relegated

He rates Muani. He said so in one of the pressers. He said he is a better player than what he has shown so far. Which is true. But we don't have time for people to play themselves into form.

None of our players are in form though* so we fudged either way

*unless we look at our performances over the past 2 years and deduce that the players are just playing at their level
