I do not think anywhere is as a big a hole as Portsmouth, particularly if you lump Southsea into the greater Portsmouth area.

I'd like Janssen to get a run out at some point (despite his average performances to date). His ability to hold the ball up might be quite useful, whereas Kane is having trouble making it stick. It's the kind of game that Janssen might actually nick a goal in.

Would love Walker, Sissoko and Kane to make some passing triangles on the right of their box, and get to the by line - with Alli, Eriksen and Rose ready to capitalise on cross across the box.

We work the ball to the edge of the box, but rarely work it wide to the line to get in behind.

Difficult to blame Kane, we get 30 yards from goal and pass it back.
What's the bet that 30 yards from so tons goal Hugo has ended up with the ball more times than harry.

But Kane used to work so much harder than this. He linked up our forward play which he isn't doing at the moment.

Despite not being scintillating, we had Eriksen and Alli have 2 or 3 shots, decent half chances, Wanyama almost score a goal Messi would be proud of. What a tackle to deny him. We have done okay, just have to smash the ball in. Better final balls, better finishing, but it is hard - Southampton defending well as we knew they would.

Very well. They are fast and aggressive and pushing the envelope of what is legal. They are organised but we are giving the time to get their shape.
