**OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Some Spanish team apparently**

I hope Zidane is scratching his head as much as the fans in tryng to work out how we will set up

Massive vote of confidence in Winks (albeit he’s there due to Dembele not being fit). What an experience for him.
I think this could be a big game for Dier as well, whether in the middle of a back 3 or in a 2 with Winks.

Nervous and excited at the same time. COYS!

Nothing wrong with experimenting in the big games. The element of surprise when a game is so decisive is what he's going for. We did it away to Arsenal last year, playing 3atb when in rubbish form and it worked for us.

We may still lose. But it won't all be because Poch has changed something. And anyway, the general philosophy behind how we play won't change, and one of our biggest advantages has been our flexibility with formation. It's not as if 4231 or 343 is a guarenteee win here, so let's see how we do.

No pressure tonight. Almost a free game. Just dont want to see us get butchered. Maybe with less expectation we could get something. Sounds daft but right now I am more confident of a better result here than at Wembley right now

Too many big players missing from midfield!
But it gives others opportunities, as long as give it a good go, I’ll be happy....ish;)

Completely. As importantly (in terms of CL progress), am crossing my fingers that Apoel nick a point - if they play like they did against us, they have to have a chance

Normally games are watched by this call-sign with the occasional cup of tea, but tonight gentlemen, it's a pint of Pimm's and some "Peanut Butter & Almond" popcorn

I truly hope I have invested wisely.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BT Sport, about starting Fernando Llorente up front alongside Harry Kane: "It is important for us to be brave. We know very well that Real Madrid are a good team, but it is not all about defending. We have to be brave and go forward when we have the ball."

On the midfield battle: "It is true we struggle a little bit in that position but we have players we know can do a good job. It is a key area for us and a key area for Real Madrid. But we are so excited and so motivated to play here."

Good that he recognises the shortfall. Hopefully we'll go back in for Andre Gomes and get it done early in Jan

This is it ! What a game in prospect. We have more pages in the lead up to this game, as some have for the whole game.

This is why we want to play Champions League, go for it, COYS !!!
