*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Saudi Sportswashing Machine FC ***

To be fair he was highly rated when they signed him and he was always going to be £80m+ even after his first season there.
He was a 1 in 3 striker before they signed him
It was a gamble because he didn’t settle at Dortmund and Saudi Sportswashing Machine is a simialr one club town
But he has grown and stepped up into the role and is class now

Not sure about that, this season he has stepped up big time.

I do agree.

Have slightly higher expectations for this one than most of our recent games. A rare week with no game mid week giving a much needed rest to the players. Even though we're missing some important players that will hopefully give those we do have available a boost.

That being said very much still expecting a tough game.

We could never in a million years afford what Saudi Sportswashing Machine would be asking for Isak.
150m is what they said. Weird to actually say a price if they don't want to sell. They could have said 400m, just to make it clear he's not for sale, but they actually said 150m, which is doable for quite a few clubs.

Marky's post tells me they have big problems at centre back, 4 first-team CBs missing due to injury: Lascelles, Krafth, Botman and Schar.

And we thought we had problems with Romero, VdV and Davies out!

Luckily for the Saudi-owned-cheats, they still have Lloyd Kelly and big stiff Dan Burn, but they are probably 5th and 6th choice for a reason, and can be got at.

Also Nick Pope is out, so Dubravka should start.

They have impressive full backs Livramento and Lewis Hall who like to get forward. (And Trippier and Targett)

We all know their midfield and attack is extremely strong, so I guess we need to take the fight to their weakest area, the centre backs, rather than invite their front 6 to have the ball... although that is playing into their hands if/when we leave big gaps for Gordon and Isak to enjoy.

Having said that, Gordon is putting in some wonderful crosses, they absolutely dissected the (poor) Man U backline even with Man U sitting deep.

They have PSR problems, so they need money, likely him and Bruno will be "open for offers", if Pep had a brain, he'd snap up both of them.

Not a great game for us

They have a very good midfield, work hard, have pace and a clinical striker

This could be ugly ..

Although they went at United early on in their last game they did concede a few serious chances which United should have taken. I think we might just sneak this one; we’re due one of our occasional good performances.

And then play one in goal and one in defence to prove his genius, no doubt.
