OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Palace **. 28.12.25 4.30pm

Danso been excellent today, just what you want from your number 2 CB
Was really surprised to hear that stat they pulled out just before kick off, how we'd only won 1 game out of 13 with him starting! Those kind of stats mean little, but was surprising nonetheless.

He is as reliable as any defender we have when it comes to defending. Fantastic to have Dragusin back too, I think he's a proper defender aswell....

We have a great chance to build some momentum in the League over the next 5 games
Brentford (a)
Forest (h)
Bournemouth (a)
West Ham (h)
Burnley (a)

3 out of 5 away but they are winnable IF we play well enough. If we could get 10/11 pts from that lot we would be easily safe

Swap out Forest home for Sunderland home.

Strange game I thought.

They had a couple of good chances to score yet we looked solid overall really, we were poor going forward overall yet created plenty and easily should have had another 2 or 3.

What it does show is that the players are playing for Frank, and if we can bring elements together it has potential. Out with 2025, better things to come in 2026 hopefully....
If our passing can improve. Then that will help a lot in defense and when we attack

Is this

A. A poor team who have smashed and grabbed a goal from a set piece completely against the run of play and are in a relegation fight

B. A performance from a nearly 1B assembled squad showing the ability to be able to weather the storm and putting in a statement performance while scoring a goal from a set piece.

I think it was Frank's territory. He was able (via injuries and suspensions) to set up as he prefers.

We won away from home and we were there better side.....take it and move on Spurs

Odobert is an enigma.

Brilliant off the bench, but tends to be poor when starting

If we can get him more consistent there is a player in there

It was the perfect gamestate for him to use his abilities. The key will be to get him to a place where he imposes those from the start. If he is allowed!!!

Easily safe?! Is that the height of our aspirations now?

Half season after January, when the injuries hit. Just before Xmas we dismantled Everton 6-1 away with one of our finest performances away from home...
We were dog brick for the second half of the season and it was a harbinger of things to come, as well as the first signs of decline caused by ENIC completely fudging Poch the summer before. To put it down to injuries is a nonsense.
