***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v nottingham forest***

I'm not even mad anymore.....just an empty void

Almost the exact thing I was going to post once I got to the end of reading the last page.

Usually I get really p#ssed off, but now I fully expect to lose each game before kick-off, so today was no surprise, and quite frankly when 5pm came round I was not @rsed.

This guy is saving me loads of money because I refuse to go any home games until he is gone.

Now I dont work Saturday mornings anymore I am quite looking forward to us being back at the Lane on Saturday 26th January 2025 for the Leicester City game...

Our wide players are crap, I've been singing that song since last season. Someone will no doubt say we score a lot, but it's really because we high risk football with an offensive overload. So sure we can score but we are always going to put our back line at risk to do so. Simply having decent wingers (we don't) should make a world of difference.
Your right . For a system that is set up for wingers and fullbacks cutting in or overlapping, we have 2 terrible wingers in Son and Johnson. Once again our recruiting is shown up as abysmal. We should have got Neto for what Johnson cost.

Got to that dark place where part of me hopes we lose against Wolves to make his position untenable .....can't be a**ed witnessing them pull another 5-0 win out the bag after a dismal few fixtures so everyone can say "but...but....we're winning the goal difference"
I watched Wolves today; no way we're beating them 5-0. The reverse is a lot more likely.

Johnson wasn’t that bad
There was much worse on the other side
He actually made their keeper make some really good saves
Remember when we had Sonny do that
If Johnson isn't having a shot he's doing precisely fudge all. He doesn't contribute to the attack, he doesn't take on his man, his passing is meh, he doesn't defend. He's a ghost and Son's a ghost in the other side.

What I don't get with you is you can now finally see how poor Son is on the wing (I told you this last season) but you're oblivious to Johnson's consistent ghost impersonations. Maybe next season you'll realise how poor Johnson's overall game is.

How much did we spend on Johnson? I want to know so I can recite the figure while crying in the corner

I’ve said since Ange has been here son has been brick
Bit he has his defenders because he scored
Johnson scores and gets pelters
It’s double standards
I’m not saying Johnson played well but he did do what he is asked too
Shoot and make the keeper work
We can’t carry him and son
And son right now is the worst player we have

Both have decent numbers, for me
- Son is still putting up numbers despite not being suited for system
- Johnson is more suited, but contributes less outside of G&A

Son is costing us though because he is wasting chances and losing the ball
Johnson may pass back but we retain ball
Then add in the weakness in any challenge and it’s a big issue when teams want a fight
And we have been starting Kulu on the right whilst Sonny and been playing on the left lately
Imagine having a wing who will take on a man whilst the other one is attacking the back post

Trust me on this if nothing else. If Levy feels the knives are out for him too much, he will act. Munn and Lange are still working under him. I agree, it should not be that way given the structure, but I simply do not believe it is any other way. In fact, Daniel has an extra couple of layers of indemnity there, as those two WILL be the ones to carry it out if it happens...
Absolutely. I keep hearing about how he's "stepped away" from the football "side" of things. This might incur the full wrath of all the blue-rinse phalanx of Levy's doting aunties on here, but stepped away, my hole. He's just achieved what he's wanted to do ever since he arrived here: pile enough bodies between himself and the court of public opinion so that there'll always be someone else in pole position to take all the flak when the latest wheeze inevitably goes tits-up. He's still got an iron grip on the purse strings, which is all that matters to him. Here's a bucket of spit, a bag of sawdust and some tinsel, build me a Taj Mahal. Levy cares about money, he doesn't care about football, and never has. It probably baffles him that anybody else should and that people are sufficiently exercised about it to have made him a multi-millionaire.

In his last pre match press conference he seemed fine to me Mikey? Usually the only time he comes off as prickly is when the journo is baiting him and being asked the same question for the 500th time and considering it winds me up having to listen to it I think he does rather well! And post match interviews, well I don't recall too many managers who seem particularly chipper after a loss. People say he looks 'defeated' well er yeah, tend to look like that when you lose :D.....
The reason he gets asked the same questions nearly every week is because it's been the same issues nearly every week for the past 13 months. No point in his getting all hissy about it.

I think it is fair to say that when it comes to business -and the business side of the game- he is probably the best chairman around. What he has done commercially for Tottenham is actually miraculous. When he wants to 'win' at something, he is obsessive and he does win. Some of the stories about the stadium build are legendary; he remains obsessed with making sure we have the best facilities too.

If he saw winning trophies in the same way he saw being the best in business in football, we'd have won the lot by now.

Yes they're not a complete mess like that Southampton team were. I expect to lose to them 2bh...
So We don't beat Wolves (who did the double over us last year) who do we beat in next 5/6 league games?

Saudi Sportswashing Machine home /Arsenal away /Everton away/Leicester home /Brentford away

Leicester ?
Maybe get a couple of points at Everton/Brentford/Saudi Sportswashing Machine?

With 2 must win Europa games to stop us adding 2 additional games in the play offs.

I get criticism of Ange for today but I hope this isn’t thrown out as evidence against him. That’s just a statistical anomaly.

More worrying was the performance and the fact we’ve lost 14 league games in 25 (and 9 in 18 this season).
I think we have all seen managers sacked for statistics and performances better than what we are seeing. Yes, we have injuries, but it's the way we train and play that are causing some of those injuries. Levy needs to press the button
