***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Monaco***

By the way, they are going to be deeply, fondly, probingly, nakedly searching everyone tomorrow so don't turn up at 7.23 and expect to waltz in to your seat.

80,000 people is a lot of fondling to get through, even for big Arthur and fat Martha.

I like his interviews, the post city at home result you could see his passion and resolve. Awesome that he's signed for another 5, I'm yet to be convinced that him and Wanyama are needed for the majority of games but hopefully they'll prove me wrong I suppose.

I don't think you will see much of that Dier + Wanyama once Dembele is back and match fit.

What I do think is one will sit out the non CL cup games, also it allows one (Dier?) to evolve his game if it makes sense.

Hopefully we'll use the squad tomorrow and bring in Lamela, Dembele, Sissoko and perhaps even Janssen. It won't really weaken the team at all

Only question is whether any of the defence is shuffled around - there there is more of a step down to the back-ups

I can pretty much guarantee you, that is not what Poch is going to do.

- First game against one of the potential teams to advance.
- Home game in front of 80K+
- Main squad just had a great result, and Eriksen, Kane got early subs, and Lamela only played 25 odd minutes.
- Chance to put down a marker, get 3 points, make a splash.

The only question for Wednesday's game is does Son & Dembele start, and if so who sits? the rest are engraved in stone already.

Rotation and squad use will be seen in domestic cups and in subs (if we are winning a CL game comfortably at home, could see Poch bring on a Edwards/Winks as a sub for the experience).

This is based on what? Last year we didnt have any depth. I dont think my suggestion of bringing in Lamela, Sissoko, Dembele and possibly Janssen weakens the team at all...in fact you could argue that we'd have a stronger team than v Stoke

I think that Poch can go with the tried and trusted team tomorrow. Kane only played 70 and scored his first goal, so he will start again. Son played the full 90, Lamela played 40 mins, so Lamela might come in for Son. Dier played 90 mins, Wanyama only 55mins, so Wanyama might start alongside Dembele. It wouldn't surprise me if Poch left Dembele on the bench though. I don't think the back 5 will change at all and I don't think Sissoko will start just yet.

So (imo) it will be Lamela in for Son and either Dier or Dembele alongside Wanyama. Then I could see Alli and Eriksen being rested v Sunderland on Sunday. Then it's a mid-week league cup game against Gillingham and I think the whole XI will be rotated for that one.

Lloris, Walker, Toby, Jan, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Lamela, Kane is our first 11, without any caveats

Caveats for Wednesday = Rose injured, Dembele not having a competitive match under his belt, Son having a good game when covering for Lamela (who was out in Argentina). Really don't think Janssen is anywhere in the frame.

BT have exclusive rights to all European footy and most of it on subscription channels.
Thanks chaps. It's no wonder everyone is turning to s.t.r.e.a.m.i.n.g.

It's so hard to find the damn games. Never heard of BT Sport 3. Sounds like the sort of channel where Clare Balding shows the women's football team how to hand out flags

Turns out the CL isn't that much of a draw as hardly anyone has bothered to subscribe to BT to see it. UEFA are apparently a bit concerned over the drop in viewers since they took over. Fans of a team want to see their team, so without Manure and Liverpoo there will be less interest. Casuals with no particular club affinity will only tune in for the big matchups (the super league that certain clubs are drooling over), but they're not that big any more when they occur several times every season. Nobody wants to pay for several packages though.

One of the reasons i cancelled my Sky. I was paying more yet missing european football. I wasn't going to subscribe to Sky and BT.

It's not including alongside sky sports?!
(Haven't had sky for years, but was thinking of changing that. Think I'll stick to the pub!)

So this game tomorrow..not televised games, but Lamela & his contact issues..what's going to happen?

I'm massively excited about watching us play. Will be the first time that I've watched us play CL Football live. The first time that I've been at the new Wembley. The first time that I've seen us live this season. The first time that I've seen us play an evening fixture in some time! So a lot to look forward to...should be an excellent night!

That last part - it's simply too expensive now. £70-80 a month for me for PL and CL (don't know if LC or FA cup is included in that either), which is at least three times more than I'd be willing to pay for a subscription to watch all Spurs games. Plus, with new PL rules I probably wouldn't be able to watch all saturday PL games either.

Yet someone still wonder why people turn to illegal streaming.
