Funny how Martin Tyler was all over us for starting slow, talking up united, and now that the tide has turned, doesn't mention it. :p
 
after a terrible start got a lot better.

United are there for the taking, get Llorente on if our plan is to carry on crossing the ball.

Get Sissoko off for him and switch Son
 
I'm pretty happy with 0-0 at half time... given that in the first 10 minutes we were shaking and they were finding gaps. Been much more solid since; we make all of our own problems by either laying it back to Lloris or giving away a silly freekick.

United will eventually swing in a good freekick and Lukaku or some other big lump will nut it in, and we'll blame the defender rather than the dingdonghead who gives away the freekick.

We can do SOOO much better than this though. De Gea must be bored.
 
We were the better side apart from the first 5-10 mins. Eriksen has been well below par and needs to grab the game in the second half as we haven’t had any really clear cut opportunities. Come on, show us you really are the Great Dane. COYS
 
Very fascinating first half, pretty much cancelled each other out, I don't think either dominated, very even.

It's gonna be a slip up, or moment of brilliance if there is going to be a winner. How important is aurier to how we play ? Everyone's done well
 
Arguably the better side in that half. Had son passed it a bit quicker to Aurier, he might have been through one on one. Oh, well. We've been good. United have barely had a sniff so far.
 
Took us a while to settle, it's a bitty game their best hope is catching us out with a ball over the top. Eriksen seems to be deeper than sissoko which is the absolute opposite of each players strengths. Onus should be on them to come out and if the game stretches Son and Alli will get more space but they do have a better offensive bench than us.

Yeah we’ve looked strong at the back but toothless going forward. Kane is obviously a miss but Alli and Eriksen have been poor. Hopefully they pick up second half.

Winks and the defence have looked good. Sissoko is also back to his woeful worst. On days like this, I do wonder if he’s getting away with what Ali Dia tried at Southampton in 1996.
