It’s bold but I don’t think it’s naive. Ange knows exactly what he’s doing and this is how it’s going to be, no matter who we play.

I think it could be tough today, but in 6, 12, 18 months we’ll be reaping the rewards.

Let’s see. Maybe it works today because I’ve often been wrong on this stuff.

But he can’t afford too many games where he sticks to his principles on steroids, gets exposed and gets away with it. The pressure, the scrutiny and the fan reactions will be more extreme than anything he’s experienced before.
