He doesn't have to be a 9, if he does what he is required well. Now whether he can that well enough is obviously up for debate but he doesn't need to be a old school physical style forward to work.

But its not working and whatever he is doing he looks lost, so ok people can argue about it, but I maintain, the lack of an out and out 9 is killing us and we should have got one in along with Marmoush.

I'm less about the a 9 or not and about quality. We had 2x 9s for the last couple of years but they were sadly brick. So it's less the 9 and more the actual quality and ability.

Regarding signing I don't know it you recall but I was advocating signing Balogun as well as Marmoush so I don't disagree that we should have added another forward.

That doesn't negate my point, we should have been looking to upgrade on them as a priority.

Marmoush is a great player, I wanted him here, but he turns up everywhere but central. The wingers need support and an outlet, as do the deep runners.

We are looking like a side playing for hail marys

Should have bought Watkins. 15+ goals every season for the last 5.
