** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool ** 8.1.25 at 8pm

You've played professional football abroad? I speak reasonable English yet I know I've called people who I know by wrong name in less stressful situations. We can hope our teams ESP is working well.

Semi-pro level but I didn't have a visa to get paid. I've also played a lot with recent immigrants here (esp North Africans) who barely have any English when they start pre-season trials.

A lot of defensive organisation you do with gestures and looks anyway, as you don't always want to telegraph what you are doing to your opponents. Half-a-dozen or so words - out, here, yes, switch, back, square etc. - are useful to have, but you don't need conversations.

A cup semi final in just over 24 hours and still no OMT sums it all up really....

Anyway, it's at home tomorrow night with a kuck off at 8pm and live on sky....

Hard to predict a team, so I won't ....

The old OMT Ghods have forsaken us. I applaud this disrespect in their direction.

On the game no doubts it will be a difficult one. I hope some of the freshness from having a week off before Saudi Sportswashing Machine can carry over.

I do also think we can do something useful in this game. They're good, but we know we can raise our game too. Need Bissouma and the other midfielders well on their game.

Glad your expectations are set at semi pro level you wont be so dissatisfied with our play and results in future.

For me, the following

Austin
Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Reggie
Bents, Biss
Johnson, Bergval, Kulu
Solanke

Keep Son, Moore, Spence ready for the 2nd half onslaught.

Have a feeling we won't see Bents, Biss and Bergval starting with the 2 boys suspended and no cover on the bench.

Hope we’re training with the puma ball 😂

But Arteta has insisted that the differences led to his side not being able to hit the target as well as the fly different.

He said: "We also kicked a lot of balls over the bar, and it's tricky that these balls fly a lot so there’s details that we can do better.

Is it not the same ball used in the competition thus far, Mikel?!

Feels to me that Kinsky will start (just a feeling).

Would be a risk to start all of Bissouma, Bentancur, Bergvall and Kulusevski. No midfielders with experience on the bench. Probably will be Bissouma, Bentancur and Kulusevski in midfield with Bergvall on the bench. Though I would be interested to see if Bergvall could continue from his good performance against Saudi Sportswashing Machine and I think Kulusevski in the front three would be useful for this one.

Said it before, but big performances from Bissouma and Bentancur would be so good for us.

Bentancur gets a start, and he'll thankfully be fresh and fit. Bissouma to pair him in the engine room. Up front it'll be Sonny on the left and Solanke central. That leaves the #10 (yes, I know we don't really play with one) and RW, with Kulu, Bergvall and Johnson the only fit senior players to fill them.

I'd put Bergvall in at #10, Kulu RW, and Johnson on the bench to keep Mikey Moore and Werner company. Then the sub option at CM would be to bring either Johnson or Moore in then move Kulu infield to #10. If Bergvall isn't working, for example. I'd rather have Johnson coming in to run past tired defenders than on from the start.

Out of interest, did you get that opinion from the Ange presser? Something about the way he answered a question led me down that line of thought as well.

It will be Bissouma, Bentancur and Kulusevski cm. Bergvall can cover all 3.

Son, Solanke and Johnson. Moore and Yang if both are available to cover the wide areas along with Werner. Son or Kulusevski to cover Solanke if needed, as it doesn't sound like Richalison will make the squad. Back for the weekend.

I'd say Austin did well enough Sunday to be entitled to be miffed if he doesn't keep his place. Not that it'll matter much who plays, IMO; I can't see anything other than another real right rogering.
