***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds United, Mon May 11th, 8pm, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium***

Not nervous about that game. We are more in control than they are. I am at the moment desiring a draw because I want City to overhaul Arsenal.
Certainly don't want a draw, the Goons to win all day. But as good as the 'We are in control of our destiny' line is (and to date true), we are one point clear which is next to nothing.

A West Ham win and that puts huge pressure on us, because after Leeds our next game is Chelsea away and we all know how that tends to go. So yes of course we can trot out the 'focus on our games' cliche and hopefully the players are, but the West Ham game is certainly important to us...

Agree with your overriding point - However it's the other way round, West Ham face the Goons Sunday and then we play Leeds on Monday so we will know exactly where we stand going into Monday's game.

If West Ham lose then hopefully will give the players the inspiration to get the 3 points and put a massive gap between us and them going into the final 2 games. If the Hammers were to get an unexpected win then the pressure is right back on Monday night....
I believe De Zerbi will have them focused on Monday whatever the West Ham result is. I get the impression he has razor sharp focus on the task and doesn't let anything distract. It's exactly what we need especially in this moment and why I am really excited by him being our coach.

Arsenal beat West Ham
We beat Leeds

West Ham lose to Saudi Sportswashing Machine and are relegated before we even go to Shamford Bridge
That's the dream, however we are Spurs and surely we all know this just doesn't happen :D

I'm positive about our side under RDZ and our prospects for us staying up. However, I would predict either West Ham get an unexpected point or points against the Goons or we drop points against Leeds....

I actually don't know enough about Leeds to know what happens with their players in the summer to be fair. Like most of these teams I would hazard a guess that they have a much bigger percentage (than us) of players out of contract this summer and next. Would they have an extra incentive to put the shift in for that reason or would it work the other way?

I'll clutch at any straw as to why we can win this game. We just have to keep this recent momentum going.
fair to say that players want to avoid injury - they have a couple going to the world cup and more hoping for to go. and yeah getting transferred to a better club too.

we need to scare them on social media with our ACL destroying pitch

As we're aware, if Arsenal beat West Ham tomorrow, Leeds are safe
That could defo be an advantage to us

For me, if we press and play with as much intensity and want it as much as the Villa game I cannot see us doing anything other than winning

I guess a Spam-Arѕe draw would be an ok result—Leeds would still be safe barring miraculous scorelines and it would give City a leg-up in the title chase, but yes, only really ok if we do our bit as well.

Although it would be nice to see the Goons only get a point and let City back in .....from our pov that point advantage we already have is valuable, and worth keeping as it adds to positive permitations in our favour going forward.
Mostly around future scenarios of a draw not being enough for West Ham because of our superior goal difference.

Remember the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game. They were relegated, we we're chasing cl. They thrashed us.

There is never an advantage for us.
