I've calmed my nerves by preparing a nice dinner for tonight. Son and nephew(a high-end wine merchant) are coming over.
The menu:
Roast herbed chicken breast with a spicy stew made from sweet potatoes, quinoa, black beans, chick peas, tomato paste, chili peppers, red wine, garlic, onions.
Greek salad.
Pecan pie for desert.
We'll be sampling some new wine releases - a nice California Pinot Noir, a bolder Mencia from northwest Spain, and a domestic Riesling from the Niagara escarpment.
But the appetizer is about to be served and I am off. Forza Spurs!
