I had no confidence we would win said to wife, 5-4 if we start, 5-3 if they start, because I knew FF would not save one, 4 of the 5 were identical, fell to his knees to the right and they put it to the left.
Didnt deserve to win anyway, should been 4-1 to them really. Once we have made numerous changes and just p#ssed away the best chance of a trophy. Useless.
40-game season incoming. Congratulations. Do ST holders get a refund as there will be only be 19 home games..at least they wont be burnt out by May
Oh and it didnt take us long to turn Madison into a proper Spurs free-kick taker. None of whizzing past the keeper for us

Eh. We learned nothing new in this game we didn't already know - our second string is utter sh*te, but we knew that. Sanchez always lets us down, but we knew that. It was amusing watching Forster half-heartedly flop to his left four times - don't know what that was about.
There were some positives - Richy finally scoring will hopefully ease some nerves. Sonny stepping up to take the first pen was leading by example, and good for him. Other than that, I expected utterly nothing and so am not at all disappointed. We move on - hopefully some of these players move on too.

Yep this is on him. 3 or 4 changes for key players was proably necessary. Gutting the team though? That's 1/3 trophies we cant win. Fking frustrating!! At least he knows the sort of garbage 2nd string he'll have to somehow manage over the course of the season.
I was vocal yesterday about playing a strong team as I’ve seen this all before.
I think we’re entitled to be annoyed that the club has dropped the ball again. If we’d given ourself every chance of winning and gone out I’d have no complaints. We didn’t - we got it all wrong and blew it away.

Jesus Christ, some bedwetters in here tonight. It’s a game against a decent Premier League side away from home. Disappointing to lose but it was on penalties FFS.

Honestly, I wonder what our bonus structure is like for cups - maybe the players and manager don't get much more, if anything, for winning one. Maybe that's why we're so anemic in these?
Yeah, wholesale changes when you're playing Exeter or Rotherham...but 9 changes against another Prem team is asking for trouble.
