OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project ** Saturday 23 November 2024

Genuinely the first time I’ve enjoyed a performance in a long while.

As I’ve said a few times we are so Jekyll and Hyde. The inconsistency is annoying.
Do we level that at the players only being able to get up for big games ? Think it’s a valid question about mentality. As we can go from superb to pub team and never knowing what we are going to get.

Maddison was different gear today. Where has that been.

What an amazing result.

Still a lot wrong defensively, but again we have seen a more pragmatic approach to City, we should bring those changes into every game.

Vic and Davies exceptional at the back, Sarr fantastic in midfield, but Kulu was the fudging man today.

When we lost at home to Ipswich I thought they we were points we could never get back, that win tonight has gone some way, We are probably now on the same points tonight as I thought we would be on pre-Ipswich kick-off

Missed the first half as I was playing earlier so can’t comment on that.

I said in this thread that I could see any result. I didn’t see that one coming. I thought we were brilliant second half. Very good defensively and always looked like we could break and score. Davies, Sarr, Deki, Solanke were magnificent. But they all were.

Until the 88th minute, I didn’t feel comfortable. Supporting Spurs is fudging wonderful.

Sarr came of age. Full package now. Kulu a mix of skill, verity, strength. Maddison was key today. Made the passes the break the press and turn the game in our favour first half. Davies proving a few wrong too - showing he's a steady head and reliable. Dragusin also getting into a groove. A young CB with real ability, still raw, but able to handle himself at the top level. And Big Vic - turning into a steady rock for us. Few shots get past him. Agile, quick, and now settled.
