OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project ** Saturday 23 November 2024

This isn't going to be a comfortable half is it? I don't believe there is a Spurs fan alive who is looking forward to this half! Lets get a 3rd.... We look more potent than them. How we get the balance of attacking and defending...

It must have been said already but Sarr, what a player. Been a nuisance today.

Bold from Ange shifting Kulu back to the right and madders (two beautiful finishes tbf) back in, it's paid off and great to have both Johnson and Werner in reserve..

I am amazed we didn't concede a lazy goal to make everything seem more nervy than it should be for half time.
Sarr is the balance in the force. A genuine two way player, he just allows the others to kind of get on with their own game. I think he's such an underrated player.
I would be tempted to take Son off and bring one of them on to get into the space behind City. Son of 2 seasons ago would exploit that, but his pace is slowing down now (naturally)
I wouldn't do it to early for a couple of reasons. Johnson can't run with the ball so we'd lose a possession option which Son has been on the first half and Werner wasteful so whilst he has the pace he's not very effective at using it. Maybe if we can keep it to 0 deep into the 2nd half bringing him on might make sense as his pace is at the least visibly troubling.

We've been there so many times. Would be nice to buck the trend and go on and win 4-0

Oh yes, there's the obligatory mention of the Brighton game

Whatever the result, I’m enthralled at how well we move the ball now. From where we were a year and half ago - we’re now one of the best sides in possession. And we more the ball quickly too. Huge strides
