***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton, White Hart Lane, Sat April 18th, 5.30pm***

I can only assume Muani is prime Ronaldinho on the training pitch.

At least Xavi might mean some forward passing. Surprised to see Bentancur AND Bissouma, for me Archie would play every game.

I've not been going to the matches for 2 years and do miss it at times but looking at the team today I'm not sure I'll watch on TV. I didn't feel this disheartened when we last got relegated but I was still playing and did not attend every home game so probably more focused on my games. I hope with all my heart that we can turn this round but I just don't see we have the players who can do it.

Why do managers never just seem to play people in their best positions?! Xavi on the left and Gallagher as a 10? 👎🏻

Also don’t know how Bissouma’s getting a start, his heart hasn’t looked in it for a while. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

Presumably for balance. If we play Muani, Tel and Xavi then we have 3 players who can’t really tackle…

I quite like the idea of Xavi on the left, he might get more time drifting in from there than stuck in a crowd in the middle.

But, I’m always an optimist when I see the line-up lol

Last week I was well up for the game, this week I'm just pessimistic. Maybe the reverse psychology will work, but that team just fills me with dread.

To be fair whether it ends up being the right or wrong selection, this is why a manager needs time and a few games to get up to speed if he's coming in halfway through the season.

Instead we decided to waste that time with 4 or 5 games on Tudor, this isn't de Zerbis fault at all - he is learning on the job....

I can't remember the last time we played Brighton and didn't massively embarrass ourselves.

I reckon the game will be over 20 mins in.

Trying to find the right team and chemistry again. Snakes and ladders.

Now it’s do or die. Tough game, can we keep our cool and tuck the ball in the net - our main issue this season.
