I've also not ironed anything in 20 years.

Never paid anyone to do it either.

I hang my laundry to dry and it doesn't need ironing, on the rare occasion I need to wear a crisp shirt, I buy a new one.

We are a poor watch with Simons, Bergvall etc available so wasn't expecting any different tonight minus such players. If we can grab a result then all good, but lose and Frank will get pelters again. That's the tightrope you walk when playing such dour football....

- The Gray and Richie headers.
- Some interchange with Richie and Spence where Richie just missed the pass back, and Spence could have shot earlier.

And a number of other mini-openings. Versus their what? One break when we were stretched at the end which we defended well. Honestly, with a patched up team, away to a team who are decent, what are fans expecting????

Yeh last 10 mins we knocked it about ok. Far from terrible but not great.

Given their home form and how great Keith Andrews is, im ok with this thus far. Hopefully we go up a gear and get a goal

If you take a punt at goal from kick off, would you label that as a "free shot at goal" as well? A blocked shot from outside of the box doesn't suddenly make that 45 minutes of our lives worthwhile.

Brentford haven't created much (but their striker intercepted what would have been a more than decent chance at the back post), neither have we as your barrel scraping post would suggest. It seems like expectations are key now, we aren't that good and will spend some time nostalgically fawning over times we were very good indeed but didn't achieve anything notable...

I think the "virtual boo boys" want us to be entertaining to watch and not look like a team that deserves to be 13th. Brentford are decent and maybe football is just generally dull these days but it's a tough watch.

Score goals? Attack with some conviction? Look like we have a plan? Put some effort in? Make it uncomfortable for the opponent?

Pick anything you want from those, as I haven't seen us do any of that in the first half.

We have so little creation in this team, it makes doing those things a lot harder
