***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodø/Glimt*** Europa League Semi-Final Second-Leg Thursday May 8th, KO 8pm

A question for @Kandi1977 , @Robbo, @Jordinho and any other who know a decent amount about Bodo: was how they played how they normally do?
They seemed to be slower in their build-up than i had thought...or was that us keeping a lower line and having more respect perhaps than other European sides who've gone there in the last couple of years?
We completely shut out their midfield. They just could not get their normal play going, because we kept Berg and Evjen out of the game, not allowing them to recieve the ball, turn and dictate the game and tempo. As both their players and coach said after the game, they just came up short vs better and stronger players that also had a very good game plan and execution. They were really impressed by the physicality and power, and said we were the best team they've ever faced by a mile.
They were under no illusion, and just held their hands up and said we were just comfortably the better side.

Utd are playing a system that doesn't suit the personnel they have. Amorim with a summer clear out and some new blood signed in the image he wants to play, may start to make progress next season, but if you watch the way they play there is a mistake in their backline, they aren't mobile enough in the middle of the park, and up top they lack a genuine goalscorer.

They are always going to be able to scrap and try to grind out a result, but if we press like we can, I don't think utd have the ability in the ball to keep hold of it. We will need to take our chances and once again defend well.

I'm wondering whether we need to ask that same question about ourselves. It is not so far off.
