*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa FC ***

Solanke's run his bag off for us lately. Not been given all the service he needs to finish around the goal but pushing hard. Not living in the Village of the Damned, previously known as Timotown, by any means, but if anyone's deserving of a goal it's Big Dom.

Villa will come into this game with not-so-fond memories of our last meeting, a 0-4 spanking from us at (Still! Ricky) Villa Park.

We haven't forgotten what they did here last season. We owe them for taking that 4th pace spot. One hopes the players don't need Ange to motivate them to deal with AV. Bentancur still owes Cash one.

Meanwhile if we lose, it is because Ange is tactically naive or Spurs is that club. I have stopped listening to the media. They know the narrative they want to run

It's great to have options and Maddison in particular will no doubt be itching to come on and make a difference. I can't recall if he was ever out of the team much for form / competition reasons during his time at Leicester, that said he seems mature enough to use it to drive him on.

Only point on the line up is Udogie who hasn't been in great form and always seems on the edge of injury, could definitely do with a break at some point. Reggie just isn't it but annoying that Spence picked up his injury when he did...
 
Like that midfield, slight worries about dragon, some concern with udogie injury wise, not much to be done about that with our squad though.

Just about the strongest team we have at the moment. Can make arguements for Biss over Bent or Werner over Son, but not much in it either way. Really strong bench with lots of options.

LB has to addressed in January. It's becoming our weakest area.
