*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa FC ***

Thanks I thought he was saying it was as loud as any away game he had heard, didn`t realise he meant just our place. Like I said it sounded a bit flat until we went 3-1 up but Sky mute the sound well normally to cut out any bad language

The tone he used felt odd to me, wonder if he was referring to them winning at the Lane and keeping the crowd quiet.
Snide git.

every fudging week

I wish we did it tbf
I don't to be honest. When we went ahead, I had to catch myself though because I wanted Vicario to brickhouse them the same way. Thankfully he didn't and just played our game.

It's something I love about Ange. He doesn't tolerate brickhousing at all. Which can't be easy to sell to lads like Richarlison...

Top 8 in the el means we don't have to play a 2 game qualifier for the knockout stages (at a stage in the season where tiredness is a big factor). I'd rather we secure that then we rest players. Not take anything for granted.

But there are another 4 games to secure top 8 including 2 at home. I want to get through as well but you have to prioritise sometimes.

Still have 4 games left, I get your point, but we should still have enough

I’d so love to see a referee have the balls to give a yellow card in the first half for that level of time wasting. Never happens but it should.
They were bit a lot harsher at the start of the season, now it's a free reign to waste as much time as possible

The ref was being so weak I thought someone was getting seriously hurt
Reminded me of Clattenburg at Chelsea

That was my view. These refs just think that ignoring the laws of the game is perfectly acceptable. I just had a quick look and there were only 2 bookings, and they were both our guys.

2 yellows doesn't represent a game that I watched today. We also got away with a couple.

I love all the people

Not my fault we couldn't create toffee for most of the game, especially the first half.

I can only say it as it was... If people want to bury their head and ignore the problems, go for it.

Like I said, happy with the win... Happy for Solanke, Drag's. Sad for Richy as he deserves so much better than the injuries he is getting.

But I am not going to stop pointing out glaring problems, to pander to peoples butt hurt feelings who only every want to look at everything with rose tinted glasses.

Good win, doesn't hide so many issues.
I think every concern you raised is correct. One thing I’m certain of though, Ange won’t be bringing it up in the dressing room post game. He’ll allow the team to enjoy the win, he wouldn’t want to put a dampener on that. He’ll bring it up in the next training session.

This forum post game is our version of the dressing room. People want to enjoy the win. But enjoying the win certainly doesn’t mean there aren’t areas that still need work.

Perhaps I've misunderstood your interpretation, but he was saying it was as loud as he had heard the crowd at our stadium. Not any away game he has played but specifically at our place....

Heard it several times now and he says, direct quote:
".... and then this place got loud, probably as loud as I've heard it, as an away player..."

To me that is him saying it's the loudest he's heard, away from home, not only this stadium, as I don't ever recall McGinn playing here as a home player.
