***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal***

If we’d had Toby at the back think this would have been a different result. Without wanyama too and Denbele not match sharp, and some sloppy passes, we didn’t do we’ll enough. Called it before the game. We weren’t as well prepared and up for it as we were in say Madrid.

Toby would have meant fudge all with the lack of attitude, passion and fight on display today.

Very, very disappointing. To be fair to them, they were excellent. Defended very well and pressed us exceptionally well in the first half. Wenger got it spot on today.

We need to stop believing our own hype. Our manager and team are top class but not infallible.

Thought Sanchez was immense today. Winks was good. Sissoko was one of our better players but the fact he was pretty much at his normal level just highlights how brick everyone else was.

Ah well, we just weren't at it, had two goals with decisions against us. I thought Sanchez played another monster game today at the back, what a young player he is - we missed Toby at the back, and Son shoulda started instead of Kane ? Kane and Alli looked off the pace I felt, Davies wasn't up to it neither.

Our entire front line didn’t show up. For varying reasons. Kane not fit. Dele in poor form and Eriksen was always going to have a hangover after his midweek heroics. We struggle against teams sittting deep. Need to address this urgently - in January please.

Considering the opposition this was a massive disappointment. So many players performed badly/weren't up for it.

Biggest culprits for me were:

Eriksen
Alli
Kane
Davies

Don't know. From the off Dier didn't look comfortable, and we lost some of our cool thereafter.

I didn't think we'd win today, posted as much before the game. Poch needs to get a consistent midfield ticking over.

Arsenal raised their game. They were at home. We were off the pace today. The ref made some very poor decisions -not booking Xhaka for a rugby tackle and the free kick that led to the goal for example. Not convinced about team selection and subs. But other than being concerned about Kane's fitness and Poch's love of Sissoko I don't think this loss is as terrible as many people will think that it is. Or should cause any more concern about our prospects this season than there were already.

Arsenal are always favourites at home. Those who really believed otherwise are delusional.
Can’t understand some of the silly reactions yet again.
Some people have to stop listening to the hyperbole especially on SKY.
We are a good team along with Arsenal, United, Chelsea, City and Liverpool.
We are not the best thing since sliced bread.
But we are not rubbish.
People need to grow up and stop acting like disappointed children.

Arsenal put in a good performance today and a couple iffy refereeing moments didn’t help.

We move on

Fair points, but the lack of desire today was hard to take.

I don’t think anyone has said we are rubbish, per se.
Just that we were rubbish today.
And childlike or not, I’m hugely disappointed at the result and with how we played.
I am sulking.
