Gilberto was utter trash
KPB was a good player, we just tried to play him as a DM.
He had a typical "inner city" up bringing which seemed to affect him with us, then grew up in his mid 20s.
Had a solid career in Italy and Germany
 
Shameful. Score is very harsh on Tamworth.

Hard to know what else to say but I’ll be interested to hear what Ange has to say after. He has no excuses, that was disgraceful. We won because of a scrappy goal and the fact we’re fitter than them. No other reason.

Thought the keeper, Reggie, Spence, Gray, Bissouma, Bergvall, Kulu did alright. Some of the rest were unprofessional. Some really arrogant and cowardly play. Also thought Solanke looked a pub player when he came on which is at odds with his recent form. However, he came on. There were 5 or 6 who were disgraceful throughout.

Maddison’s performance was also weird. Good in the first half, forgot he was playing second half.

Lots for Ange to ponder and answer for.

That place is full of utter utter clamers. I used to be one but I don't bother now as it's quite sad and pathetic. Even if you go on there to call people sad and pathetic, it's full of proper keyboard warriors with very low IQ.

Not like this place ;)

They were ok.
Sarr a bit anonymous.
Madders probed.

Everything broke down when it got near the front three of Moore, Johnson and Werner. No answer to a solid Tamworth defensive set up and no idea how to move them around or overload them.
Tamworth were fabulous defensively. However , we didn't make them have to think.
The change came when we did something intelligent.


Bergvall 100% should start in our CM.
Alongside Gray when we get him a little rest when the CBs are back.
 
These cup games are always tough, heck even Saudi Sportswashing Machine are 1-0 down as I speak. League/current performances go out of the window in one off games. Tamworth played like their life depended on it whereas we didn’t but they never really threatened. Only thing I saw was Werner offers nothing really and will be glad when we get some players back, also didn’t think much of Bissouma tbh other then playing backwards.
 
Back to back clean sheets people. Rejoice!

The game just highlights how much we need different options for wide forward. Someone with creativity who can beat a man in a tight space from a standing start. Maybe Moore and Odebert could be that in the future but we need someone now.
