That just highlights the weakness of xG. Plucking a high ball out of the air and getting it on target is harder than the ball on the ground and picking your spot. The former requires a lot more skill.

Don't think it could get more Spurs under Ange than this past week. Play an excellent game and beat league leaders Liverpool, to go away to a non league side, play like a bunch of toads, not score a goal and potentially lose.

It’s the dryness. If it was wet it would still zip about. Where it’s dry it grips the black stuff that’s inside the ‘grass’.
