I don't think it's specifically the club, but look at how the FA, UEFA, Sky etc treat fans. You need Sky, BT and Amazon to watch your teams games for example. The fact there isn't team packages available to buy is a joke. You get fixtures moved that benefits nobody but the broadcasters. Competitions and rules are changed to make games more of a spectacle.
There's things like the constant attempt to Americanise the game with half time shows etc... It all adds to the divide.
 
We have an attacking line that not many teams would want! And thankfully (and long may it continue) that other people are stepping up.
But it definitely needs improving

Trust me, I don't entirely disagree, but we have the likes of Porro and VdV who can play thos balls over the top.
 
Thought we were miles off it for the most part. Villa passed out from the back really well and passed through the middle of us at will. They just looked like they had an extra gear when needed.
Tel and Oderbert arent good enough, continually running into defenders and losing the ball, Xavi looking miles off the player i think he is. Only Kudus is performing for us. Bringing Richi on not Muani was pointless. Richarlison needs to go.
Frank faffing arond with the substitutions!
Changes should have been made at ht.
Bentancour is stuffed after 45 mins, put Bergvall in then. Give Muani 45 mins, not 15.
Another tinkle poor home effort with no sense of urgency until injury time.

Kudus is a huge huge issue
He doesn’t release the ball quickly, ever. And he doesn’t go down when fouled … ever
He is working predictable whilst clearly being a top player
But they are both things that have to be addressed to get the most out of him
The guys on the glory glory pod have nailed it today (I’m listening now)
The set up and system Frank is using is in incredibly focussed on wide play and right now we only have one available quality wide player

In his defence yesterday there was hardly anyone to release the ball to. When he breaks unless Porro overlaps there's nobody within 30 yards of him. Never and third man runs from midfield, or a striker between the defenders.

I would have agreed
But MOTD2 yesterday showed plenty in their analysis
I think we’re blinkered because he is our best attacker and seeing a neutral flag it, highlighted it for me
And we won’t get runs from midfield in this set up bless Frank changes his tactics. I don’t like it and think the way he has us set up is that of a poorer side
 
both porro and kudus looked lethargic yesterday. and of course we still don;t have a reliable way to attack in any other manner.
TF needs time and a couple more reinforcements IMO. Odobert and Tel don't look ready while Simons and Muani are only getting started.

I think TF will get us there, he will be learning also to rotate the team more with more players in the squad involved in internationals, plus a European campaign.

we greatly missed Son out there on the left. all those wishing him gone - what's the fix now?
