Surprised we kept playing as narrow
just watched the highlights from last week, Traore was doing the same thing there away at the foxesWolves are a good side, pass the ball well and have a player in Traore who speeds past players at will. Also their first game in front of a home crowd for a long time, was never going to be an easy game so I'm not quite sure what you expect?
There's a fair chance. No chance are we getting in top 6
Yes maybe but we're not very good... yet.Wolves battered Leicester last week.
Still, this is very poor
In a lot of trouble in that first half. Let off by Wolves not finding the final pass or finish needed.
We do look threatening on the break, but not nearly enough to be this vulnerable at the back.
Surprised we kept playing as narrow and didn't try to shut down our right hand side more. Skipp and Tanganga on yellows will make things difficult.
Kane might make the ball stick and give us a target man of in decent shape. Lo Celso might be needed as it's a tough ask for Skipp doing that role on a yellow. But really we need a bit of a tactical rethink, and to up our passing accuracy and tempo.
We're also away, against a team in their first home of both the season and post covid, who offer the kind of pace and power to make 100m runners scared and we have a shaky CB and inexperienced RB. Ex-manager going back.Yes this isn't even a close game. Getting absolutely battered by them. If it were a city we'd be like ok they're champions, but it's not. It's Wolves.
More torn apart than exposed imo. Just coincidences that they haven't scored, and now we have some difficult yellow cards to deal with.I think its jus the Nuno way. Defend narrow and forces teams to go around you and/or put crosses in. Problem is that as today has shown, it can leave you exposed against a decent winger
Not for me .There's a fair chance.
Would City, United, Chelsea or Liverpool get battered like we are? Are we not supposed to be competing with these teams? No one is scared of Spurs anymore and we are miles away from the top 4.Wolves are a good side, pass the ball well and have a player in Traore who speeds past players at will. Also their first game in front of a home crowd for a long time, was never going to be an easy game so I'm not quite sure what you expect?

Too reasonable and sensible post. Surely you should be calling for Nunos head? We're also away, against a team in their first home of both the season and post covid, who offer the kind of pace and power to make 100m runners scared and we have a shaky CB and inexperienced RB. Ex-manager going back.
Playing on the front foot would be tactically stupid.
So far, 45 mins in - three points.
We have goals one and two - don't concede, get in front - achieved. We now have 45 to manage the game to a win. That comes in lots of different forms.
The occasion deserves a special approach.
In your inboxHi people, my ocean has just gone down, can someone kindly send me a link
Can't see much difference bereeen this and what we played under Jose.
Seems to be a lack of posts talking about the manager disrespecting the free flowing passing traditions of Tottenham though.
